We truly believe that money is better in your pocket than in those of the energy companies, and so we provide a wide range of options in leading-edge heating capability that won't push your budget out too far, and will lower your heating bill.
These options include:
- Super-efficient heat pumps, offering close to 400% output for energy input
- Hot water heat pumps for in-floor heating systems, including second storey floors!
- Geothermal array technology to provide the energy for ground-source heat pumps
We are also closely monitoring new technologies so that we can bring them to the New Zealand market as soon as practicable. These include:
- Solar electricity using plastic or "paint-on" technology to make the whole of the roof and even walls become a lower-cost photo-voltaic generator
- Small scale hydro-electriciy using in-stream impeller turbines for those close to water sources
- Geothermal small scale bore technology to provide heating (and cooling) directly from ambient temperature sources 150m below the ground
- Small-scale "urban turbines" which allow wind to provide power for your new home without the tall towers normally needed
