Remote Internet Design

If you have a broadband internet connection, we can develop a custom house design together over the internet. While we talk things through on the phone, you will see the changes I’m making to the design on a web page that is accessible only to you. I will even be able to see where you are pointing your mouse on the web page, so you can draw my attention to the feature you are talking about. When I change the design on my computer, or change the particular view of the design, it will update on the web page on your computer screen within a few seconds.

Before scheduling the free, no-obligation meeting I will need a plan of your site, including dimensions, the street address of your site (and, if available, the legal description) and several photographs (by email or land mail).

And, prior to the meeting, I will have checked to see whether there are any easements on your site, or other site-specific constraints. Also, if I haven’t designed a house in your district before, I will have ascertained the general constraints, such as boundary setbacks, recession planes and the maximum percentage of building area to land area.

After the end of this first meeting, or later, you can take the next step toward a Concept Plan.
